Guardian Angel

The girl always wondered what it was like to have people who cared about her. She had never known what it was like to have friends. While everyone else laughed and joked, she would watch from the outside. She always wanted to know what it felt like. A laugh, a hug, a kiss, she always wondered. She never knew there was always someone there, watching, waiting for the perfect time.
She was always depressed. Tired of not knowing what affection was like. She got so upset that one night, she took her car and drove and drove. She drove for miles. She finally stopped on the middle of a bridge on a deserted highway. She got out and went to the edge. She peeked over the side of the bridge; she was hundreds of feet up. One jump and all her troubles would be over. She climbed to the top of the railing, took a deep breath and jumped.
I never should have done this, she thought immediatley after she plunged off the bridge. Just then she realized she wasn't falling. She felt a powerful grip around her wrist. "It's okay. I've got you," a voice said from somewhere above her. Slowly she was lifted upward. Then she was finally on the safety of the bridge.
"Please don't jump. I'd die without you," the boy told her, "I love you." Then he kissed her. It was everything she thought it would be and more.
The boy and the girl became inseperable. He taught her how to open up and make friends. Slowly she gained friends that would last her a lifetime. Perhaps the boy wasn't just a mere boy, but her guardian angel sent to protect and save her from making the biggest mistake of her almost short life.
