What do you do when you've never loved someone as you love him.
Will you open the gates to your heart.
Will you stand behind the walls,
Guarding your heart from rejection,
From hurt,
From pain,
From love.
What do you do when your guarded heart causes you pain,
Causes him to leave,
To never know how you truly felt.
Will you build more walls,
Trying to stop the pain.
Will you let them fall,
Tumbling down,
Opening up to face rejection,
And hurt,
And pain,
And love.
