Is in the eye of the beholder

So what is truly beautiful

Is it perfection like some think

Is it the little quirks like others think

Or is it different for everyone

There is no definition to what beautiful is

No one can say what it truly is or is not

Beauty does not have to be

The cover of a magazine

That girl in a commercial

That actress on television

Beauty can be the little things

A quirk

Something unique

Someone that is different

Girls should not feel

Like they have to look exactly the same

That they have to be stick thin

That they have to plaster on makeup

That they have to change who they are

A girl should be able to feel

Like she can be herself

Like she can look how she wants

Like she is beautiful

I am so tired of people

Creating a stereotype

For what is and is not beautiful

It has a different meaning for everyone

It is something that is unique

Something that can be inside and out
