I truly am sorry

I did not mean to hurt you like this

I did not want to upset you

You are so sweet

And caring

I think it is amazing

That you like me

I am sorry I did not tell you

I like another

But I knew it might hurt you

And I did not want that

I am starting to like you though

I really mean that

I just do not know you so well

And I do not know if things would work

I am also scared

My heart is currently under lockdown

Because I am too afraid

Of being hurt again

No one will be back in my heart for a while

I really do not want to hurt you

I am starting to like you

But I like another

And I am terrified of being hurt
