Trapped

I am trapped,

Nowhere to go.

Kept alone,

Having to stay here.

My freedom,

All of it stripped.

Locked in this place,

Away from everything.

I wish I could break free,

Escape from here.
I feel I am locked up,

Chained up like a prisoner.

Since when am I this weak,

A damsel in distress.

Since when am I this stupid,

A dunce sitting in the corner.

I just want to soar free,

Run from this place.

Spread my wings and take off,

But instead I am trapped.
