I miss the way things used to be.
What happened to the days without drama,
The days when the biggest drama was someone stole your cookie.
When a friend never talked behind your back,
Except to tell another that they liked your new shirt.
What happened to the days of recess,
Of snacks and naps.
When there was play time and story time,
The hardest work was learning the alphabet.
What happened to the days when boys had cooties,
They were icky and dating them was out of the question.
When there was no such thing as boyfriends and girlfriends,
No one thought you were trying to steal their current other half.
What happened to when a friend was truly a friend,
We did not even know what backstabbing was.
When you knew you could count on your friends,
They would have your back when you were pushed around.
What happened to when summers wore on forever,
They did not go by so fast.
When imaginations ran wild,
And nothing could tame us.
What happened as we grew up,
We have all changed so much.
Your best friends become worst enemies,
Worst enemies become your best friends.
What happened as we grew up,
We talk and fight and backstab too.
All the unwanted drama that has come,
Where did it come in.
What happened as we grew up,
We lost who we used to be.
We were better off when we were younger,
We just got to live our lives day to day.
What happened.

how do you figure,how does it have everything to do with my poem??the poem is about how we've all changed so much while growing up,so what does finding East and going blind have to do with it??...and don't say 'EVERYTHING'.
