Still Lovin' You

I still love you,

And I do not know why.

I cannot shake the feeling,

No matter how hard I seem to try.

You loved me before,

Then walked out the door.

It hurt me so much,

And I wish I did not care anymore.

Maybe one day,

I will no longer care what you say.

My heart will be back,

After it was led astray.

Hopefully you will never see,

How badly and easily you were able to hurt me.

And when the right day comes,

I will take my heart out from under lock and key.

I realized I haven't posted in a while so I thought I'd share this poem I wrote a couple months ago. I'll try to make sure I post more often, especially since I have a few other poems I've written that you guys haven't gotten to read yet.
